Difference between power floating and polishing your garage floor

So power floating is done when your concrete is freshly laid and allowed a few hours to set. When we float the current it creates a smooth surface which many customers are rather happy with most of the time, especially if they aren't fully aware of the difference between this and polished.

If you want further polishing, this is done with a diamond grinder at least 28 days after the concrete has been laid, and you can choose the shine you want. There are multiple ways of going about this, you can choose a matte effect, an exposed aggregate effect, or even just a high sheen result.
